Mesabi range women's program

Pathways to Family Peace offers a women’s non-violence and positive parenting program on Minnesota’s Iron Range.  The Mesabi Range Women’s Program focuses on a woman’s path to having peaceful and loving relationships with her intimate partner and children.

PROGRAMMING
  • Co—facilitated by two women
  • Co-facilitators have experience organizing and conducting national training on women’ use of violence
  • Addresses intimate partner relationships and parenting
  • Melissa is a co-author & international  trainer on the curriculum used in this group - “Turning Points:   A Non-Violence Program for Women”

REQUIREMENTS
  • One intake assessment
  • 16 week session program
  • 90 minutes per session
  • One exit interview on day of last session
  • Free coffee and light snacks (when available) will be served

FEES
  • Sliding fee scale
  • Intake Assessment fee: $10 for unemployed participants and $20 for employed participants
  • $5 per session for unemployed and part-time employed participants
  • $10 per session for full-time employed participants
  • Ability to pay via debit or credit card

This group is offered once we have enough women referred to the group.  We will offer the group in the city with the most referrals.  Call us at 218 - 506 - 0116 for more information and to find out when the next group is offered.  When needed we also offer one-on-one sessions with individual women.
